The bank was originally located on the first floor of the Morris Office Building at 200 South Jefferson Street. Founder George T. Morris served as President. In April 1963, the bank changed locations to 301 Bellevue Avenue and the Mall Office was opened in October, 1971. Construction was completed on our new main location and opened in April of 2008. Since then we’ve added office locations in Jones County, Houston County, and Bulloch County.

Times have changed and Morris Bank has grown in ways our founder could never have imagined. We now offer much more with technology that our first customers couldn’t have even dreamed of. We still say “hello” when you walk in; because Morris Bank hasn’t forgotten that our customers make all the difference.
