Fraud

Welcome to the Fraud Center

In a world where fraud is ever changing, there are things we can all do to help prevent cyber attacks and identity theft. Keeping your information and your money safe is one of our highest priorities, and we are honored that you are trusting us with your money. We take pride in our high levels of security and fraud prevention, and when you keep an eye out for fraud and use these security measures, you're setting yourself up for a secure future.

Why does protecting my information matter?

If you provide your information or money to a scammer, there is often little intervention a bank can do to get your money back. Fraudsters can pretend to be you online and gain access to your personal information.

What is the best way I can help protect my personal information?

Regularly monitoring your account balance and activity with Online Banking or the BLUEmobile App is a good way to reduce your risk of fraud and to detect any suspicious activity. Be sure to allow push notifications and alerts from the mobile app in order to receive real time communication.

Using products like BLUE Secure Checking and SecurLock can also provide you with additional safeguards to prevent identity theft and fraud. These products feature Falcon Alerts to notify you of any transaction made on your account and allow you to set parameters around your spending limits, location, and card activity.

What do I do if I experience fraud?

At the first sign of fraudulent activity, there are several steps to immediately take in order to minimize your potential threat:

  • Contact us! Our trained team members will walk with you through the process of rectifying the situation. (If you experience fraud after hours or over the weekend, call the Falcon Fraud Department at 1-855-961-1602.)
  • Change your passwords. If you have given unauthorized access to your online banking or other online accounts, change your passwords as quickly as you can. (For more details on password suggestions, visit our Security page.)
  • Adjust your card controls. Using the BLUEmobile App, you're able to turn your debit cards on and off with the toggle of a button.

What are we doing to protect you?

At Morris Bank, we keep the safety and security of our customers' personal information top of mind. Visit our Security page to view our policies and procedures that allow us to provide the best service to those we serve.
