Amtryke Bikes Gifted to Local Children Courtesy of AMBUCS and Morris Bank

On Monday March 27, two patients of The Therapy SPOT received free Amtryke adaptive bikes from the AMBUCS Organization. The event took place at 12:15pm at the Morris Bank branch on North Main Street in Statesboro, GA. The Amtyrke bike recipients were James Welton and Kash, who are both patients of the Therapy SPOT. Both specialized bikes were assembled by the Statesboro Fire Department team members Nick Hunt and Cody Hanna.

The Morris Bank Community Foundation donated $2,000 to The Therapy SPOT, as a part of their "12 Days of Christmas" giveaway back in December 2022. The heartwarming exchange on a cloudy Monday afternoon was quickly brightened by the radiating smiles of both children as they received their adaptive bike treasures.
