Morris Bank recently pledged a significant contribution to support children (of all ages) of Jones County and countless other communities across the southeast. The Jones County Parks and Recreation Department and Morris Bank have entered into an agreement to sponsor the Highway 18 recreation complex, naming the park the Morris Bank Recreation Complex.* The vision is to provide a place that everyone from children to seniors can enjoy.
With the naming, Morris Bank has agreed to a ten-year commitment. These dollars will be purposed specifically for enhancing programs and facilities at the Complex and funding disbursement will be monitored by the Recreation Advisory Committee. “We are grateful to be a part of something so important to our community,” said Alan Childs, Morris Bank Jones County Market President. “We know that the Morris Bank Recreation Complex will touch thousands across the southeast and we’re happy to partner with the Jones County Parks and Recreation Department to accomplish this vision.”
*The official announcement was made at the April 3rd Jones County Board of Commissioners meeting, by Director of Parks and Recreation, Matt Goins.
