Personal Banker (Houston County): Assist lender in daily functions; help gather pertinent information to move forward with loan; Take loan applications; Prepare early disclosures; Set up loan closings; close loans; Provide Excellent Customer Service; Perform duties as defined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program; Performs other duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent; One to two years of similar or related experience; General knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures; experience of consumer/commercial/residential loans or credit experience a plus; strong attention to detail, good judgment and decision-making skills; presents a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives; have a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees; ability to exercise personal and professional responsibility and work with limited direction; must be able to use tact and diplomacy and communicate effectively via telephone, letters, personal contact, etc.; computer Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer.
